Death Spore Contest

Death is the rarest(actually extinct....) pet in NEaB and it seems that no one can figure out how to get the spore of one. To encourage the discovery of a spore, Garg is offering a special reward for one. The first person to send a Death Spore to him via the Post Office will receive a piece of NEaB's merchandise valued at approximately $50.00 at most. But remember, you will be also be instantly famous if you can figure out this so far unbeaten puzzle *wink* Merchandise may be viewed here www.cafepress.com/nowhereelse.

As an added bonus to the winner of this fine contest. The gazette has agreed to have their head writer write some form of interview/report/article with the winner. The exact terms of the article are to be decided on by the winner of the contest.

Intro Island Competition

Garg is also running a competition to improve the tutorial for the game.

What is needed is a 2D map of an island or location that a new player can use to learn the basics of NEaB's game play. You will need to describe all the basic features such as combat, journal, and equipment but the most important requirement is perfect English. You must use perfect grammar and spelling in every area of your "tutorial island".

The administrators will judge these islands, and the winner will see his/her island at the place of the intro island + will receive a free NEaB T-Shirt (or item of equal value from NEaB shop on cafepress), or 4 DT. The deadline for the contest is the 30th of November, submission should be done via PO to Garg .
