Nowhere Else and Beyond (NEaB) is the first web based real multiplayer RPG that allows players to explore exotic locations in 2D, interact with other players, and build your own island and create quests within it.
The best part is it's free and it runs within your browser and works on all platforms without any download. Firefox recommended as it provides better performances, but NEaB runs well on Internet Explorer too.
One of the unique traits of NEaB is that you can see and interact with other players directly on the maps, during combat, or in towns. Also our chat, one of the most fully featured of Ajax chats, will let you really enjoy the player community.

Contests
Death Spore Contest
Death is the rarest(actually extinct....) pet in NEaB and it seems that noone can figure out how to get the spore of one. To encourage the discovery of a spore, Garg is offering a special reward for one. The first person to send a Death Spore to him via the Post Office will recieve a piece of NEaB's merchandise valued at approximately $50.00 at most. But remember, you will be also be instantly famous if you can figure out this so far unbeaten puzzle *wink* Merchandise may be viewed here www.cafepress.com/nowhereelse.
Intro Island Competition
Garg is also running a competition to improve the tutorial for the game.
What is needed is a 2D map of an island or location that a new player can use to learn the basics of NEaB's game play. You will need to describe all the basic features such as combat, journal, and equipment but the most important requirement is perfect English. You must use perfect grammar and spelling in every area of your "tutorial island".
The administrators will judge these islands, and the winner will see his/her island at the place of the intro island + will receive a free NEaB T-Shirt, or 4 DT. The deadline for the contest is the 30th of September, submission should be done via PO to Garg .
